Confused about his feelings, one stepfather dared to ask netizens for advice. A netizen who went by the pseudonym Jeremy sent a message to a certain Facebook page which shocked and drew the ire of netizens.
38-year-old Jeremy married a woman named Shain 16 years ago. Shain was divorced and had a 2-year-old daughter named Shella. According to Jeremy, he treated Shain's daughter as if she was his own.
However, their relationship did not last. Soon, the relationship broke down until they were left with no choice but to go on separate ways.
Jeremy decided to move out and live in a separate apartment not far from his former wife's home.
However, the major complication is not with Jeremy's relationship with Shain, but with her daughter's. According to Jeremy, his former stepdaughter is now a beautiful and smart 18-year-old and he can't help but crush on her. Jeremy admitted how captivated he is with Shella's beautiful smile and face.
"Mukhang nahulog ang loob ko sa aking ex-stepdaughter at gusto ko siya i-date. Pakiramdam ko, hindi ako mabubuhay nang wala siya... Puwede mo kayang sabihin sa akin kung masama ba o hindi na i-date ko ang sarili kong stepdaughter?" he asks.
Unfortunately for Jeremy, netizens weren't so pleased with the idea. Some even expressed disgust for him.
"stupid question, stupid answer! ngiba n level ng relationship mo ng mging stepfather k ng anak ng bago mong asawa. bket mo itatanong or tatawaging DATE ang pagalis mo at ng stepdaughter mo kung wala kng ibang naiisip or nararamdamang kaiba? hindi k rin cgurado no? bket hindi ung nanay ng stepdaughter mo ang IDATE mo?" responded netizen Helen cea Cabrera.
"Maling mali,nakagisnan ka na niyang ama .,wala mang blood relation parang anak mo na yan," was the short reply of netizen Minerva Gabot.
"Kung legally married ka sa nanay, anak mo na rin siya!" said another netizen, Norberto Jim Agad.
