A couple living in Medellin, Columbia created a buzz after their story inspired many netizens all over the world.

Maria Garcia met her husband Miguel Restrepo in the streets. Columbia has been known for its widespread drug problem and both of them were addicted to narcotics when they first met. But they persevered together and took shelter in the sewers.

They have no family to help them or look out for them. So they struggled to help each other get rid of their addiction. After 22 years, they managed to stay together but they kept living under the sewers. Some may find this a very unsuccessful life story, but for the couple, they'll have the perfect love story as long as they're together.

Their home was quite unusual but they are happy with it. They have everything they need- electricity, lights, heat and even a small kitchen! They also got a bed, and even a TV! They also try to live as others do and even decorate during holidays. According to them, their home is peaceful since it is very far from the city. They keep a dog named Blackie who guards their humble home and keeps them company.
