Exclusive - This Just In! Shocking Blooper at the Oscars! This Actor Declares the Wrong Winner for Best Picture!

Move over Steve Harvey - the biggest blooper of 2017 was made in the 89th Annual Academy Awards!

The most glamorous and prestigious award show in American showbiz is the 89th Annual Academy Awards or simply called ‘The Oscars.’

Annually, nominated actors and film makers alike are honored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) for their contributions to cinema.

Towards the end of the 2017 Oscars, legendary actors Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were supposed to announce the winner of the biggest award of the evening – the Best Picture Award.

Warren Beatty then announced that “La La Land ” (starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling) had won best picture. Naturally the audience cheered as the cast and crew went up to the stage to accept their award and made their speech.

However, when it was all said and done, it was discovered that Mr. Beatty had made a huge mistake!

The film “Moonlight” (starring Mahershala Ali) was actually the movie that was supposed to win!

Like Steve Harvey, who we all remember hosted the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, he had made the mistake of announcing the wrong winner!

The crowd and everyone watching at home was stunned! Whoops – AWKWARD!

"I opened the envelope and it said Emma Stone, La La Land. That's why I looked at Faye, and at you. I wasn't trying to be funny." Beatty said, owning up to his mistake and saying he had the wrong envelope.

Like Steve, they even showed the envelope with the name “Moonlight” written as the winner.

"Warren, what did you do?!" Host Jimmy Kimmel said, trying to fix the situation.

He even brought up Steve Harvey’s name - referring to when the comedian announced the winner as Miss Colombia when in fact it was Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach who won the Miss Universe pageant!

The 89th Annual Academy Awards was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center.
