Exclusive - Cebu City Mayor Breaks Into the House of the Road Rage Suspect Who Shot a Nurse!

At around three in the morning of March 19, Sunday, a nurse suffered two gunshots on his knee following a traffic altercation that happened on F. Sotto Street, Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City.
He is Ephraim Montalbo, and Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that the suspect fled the scene along with a female companion on a dark-colored Mercedes-Benz with the plate registration number UNI 731.
Authorities stated that the road rage incident occurred when the vehicle crisscrossed the narrow two-lane street before it stopped in the middle of the road. Montalbo was driving the Toyota Altis, which was the car behind the Benz.
He honked at the vehicle in front of him so that he could pass but the driver of Mercedes-Benz got out, accompanied by a woman, and kicked Montalbo’s car. After a few punches, the driver of the Benz retrieved a gun from his car.
Definitely Filipino reported that the mayor of Cebu, Mayor Tomas Osmeña, barged into the suspect’s house, together with members of the Special Weapons and Tactics team (SWAT) in full gear.
Sun Star said that the suspect was identified by Montalbo as David Lim Jr. Osmeña said that he was the one who ordered the authorities to conduct the operation on Sunday night even without a warrant of arrest.
When they arrived at the suspect’s house, he could not be found. According to the latest post of the mayor on Facebook at 10:30 in the evening (March 19): "He's not here. I have invited his father in for questioning.”
“I cannot legally compel him to come with no warrant. I am working on getting a warrant now."
The Mayor also alerted the officials of the Mactan Cebu International Airport to stop Lim Jr. in case he attempts to flee the city.
