Exclusive - Couple Who Died in an Accident Would Still Get a Marriage Ceremony as Planned by Their Own Relatives! READ HERE!

Have you ever wondered what makes Filipino families so tight-knit and close despite all the typical in-law fights and the usual disagreements? It is difficult to point at one thing, but as the famous phrase says, “Blood is thicker than water.”

ABS-CBN News reported an incident that showed just how close a Filipino family can be. Two young couples, Roy Saballero and Jocelle Demapula, were slated to be married this year, but a tragic accident occurred and claimed their lives.

The accident occurred in Bacolod last Saturday, March 11. A car driven by Renz John Reyes rammed into the tricycle that the couple was riding, leading to their untimely demise.

Before the funeral rites, both of their families claimed that they wanted Saballero and Demapula to get married to each other, posthumously.

Saballero’s mother, Alma, stated that the couple lost their lives together so they have decided to put the two in one funeral wake.

Among the victims of the accident was the driver of the tricycle, Elmer Lumangyao, while the other passengers were left wounded. Their names were Andrian Mandawe, Stephen Basoy, Elmer dela Torre, and James Siason.

However, those who survived the casualty said that they intend to file a case against Reyes, who refused to give a statement to the media about what had happened.

Authorities are still investigating the case as of this writing.
