Police officers and other public servants who took the solemn oath to provide genuine and honest service to the public are heroes for everyone. Most especially, they are the real life saviors for their families. No one could ever be more proud of them than their own sons and daughters. However, these people are also the ones being affected the most when public servants lose their lives in the line of service. They are the collateral damage when police officials are caught in between deadly battles.
This has been the case for the young Tanner Brownlee. When his father died in 2010 after an extreme police chase, he could not figure out how he was going to make his life work normally again. It took him a long time and effort before he could finally move on with his life after losing the man closest to his heart and soul.
When he was able to piece back his life together, he decided to do something to relive his dad's memories. He decided to purchase his father's squad car which was placed in an auction.
Tanner sought financial help from the people around the world through a GoFundMe campaign. He was able to accumulate $12,500 to be used for bidding on his father's car. Now that he had the money, all he could hope for was to outbid others who were also interested with the squad car.
Unfortunately, Tanner lost the auction even after giving all that he had. A hat-wearing man just outbid him and he knew right at that moment that the stranger would go home with the thing that is supposed to remind him of his late father.
Just as when he thought that his hopes were all over, the winning bidder did something that really made him breakdown on the spot. He did not expect that the stranger would hand him the car keys.

If you were Tanner, how would you feel about this? Were you convinced that there are still people who are willing to do good for nothing in return? Tell us what you think of this story in the comment section.
