Exclusive - 'No Angel, No Darna' Die-Hard Angel Locsin Fans to Stage Protest Against ABS-CBN

If you've seen one of these posts on instagram, you've just witnessed the makings of a nationwide protest. 

Or at least that's what Angel Locsin die-hard fans want to achieve when they gather for their "Walk For Angel" movement on March 31.

The walking protest from GMA Network to ABS-CBN grounds will be their answer to network's decision to cross out Angel for the main role.

In a press statement last March 20, ABS-CBN revealed that Angel Locsin won't be able to reprise her role as the iconic Pinay superhero "due to her medical condition."

The network pointed to the actress' disc bulge as the main concern. 

"Unfortunately, Angel experienced back pain twice during training, prompting her doctor to advise her not to participate in strenuous activities to avoid permanent damage on her spine," read the statement.

And we all know what "strenuous activities" are involved when it comes to wearing the heroine's two-piece outfit in front of a camera.

But the fans don't buy any of these explanations. "No Angel, No Darna" as they put it.

Meanwhile, entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz revealed that  his talent, Liza Soberano was one of the top choices to replace Angel as Darna.
