It is normal for artists in the entertainment industry to form friendships with most of the actors they work with due to the sheer number of days they spent together on certain projects. 

However, due to network rivalry and fan wars, celebrities from different managements grow aloof with one another if not, their relationship remains as acquaintances. So when artists from opposing networks become friends, fans and followers are somewhat skeptic, unbelieving and more so just plainly shocked.

Who would have even guessed that Kapuso star Gabbi Garcia and Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto are close friends?

Four days ago, to the surprise of many fans and netizens, the Encantadia star posted an adorable photo of Julia on her Instagram account. Apparently, the two chilled together at an unidentified place. On Gabbi's post, she wrote a simple 'miss you' message to the Star Magic talent.

Julia even posed for the photo, looking as if in deep thought. Fans and netizens raved over the adorable friendship the two long shared. Some even tried guessing what the actress could have been thinking when the shot was taken.

Although netizens were delighted upon learning about their friendship, some were curious how the two could have possibly known one another. Apparently, Gabbi and Julia were close high school friends. 

Given that both the schedules of the actresses are filled due to their rising careers, many admired how the two were still able to find time for one another to simply catch up.

Gabbi is currently busy with her role in GMA's Encantadia as Sang'gre Alena.

While Julia is part of ABS-CBN's 'A Love to Last' playing as the daughter of male lead Ian Veneracion.
