Brandon doesn't live in his ex's home anymore but he still tries his best to take care of her and their daughter. After all, they are still his family and being separated doesn't mean he has to abandon them.

One day, Brandon was asked by his ex-wife to buy medicine for their little daughter. He came back and was about to put the medicine inside the refrigerator but he saw something inside that shocked him. 

Inside his ex's fridge were all water, baby formula, and snacks for their daughter. He didn't know what to do at first but he eventually came up with an idea.

He shared his story on Facebook and instantly gained praises and reactions from netizens.

"She works a full time job and then has my daughter. She pays rent and all her bills plus she is paying off a car. So today I went shopping to make sure she had food for the next few weeks. Just because we aren't together doesn't mean I can't provide for her if she needs it," Brandon wrote on Facebook.

"If my child's mother is good then I know she is taking care of our daughter the best she can and that makes me happy."

"Some of y'all think I'm only going to provide for my child, but that's thinking like a child. It's time to grow up and take responsibility in all aspects of life!" 

The post earned more than 160,000 shares and people are inspired by his kind gesture to his ex-wife despite not being together.

Every parent should learn to accept how things turned out to be and be good while at it. This is what Brandon stands by.
