Exclusive - This Woman Refused To get a Hair Cut For 20 Years, Now Her Husband Has To Pay The Price.

In Riga, Latvia, a woman is being hailed as the "real-life Rapunzel".

Aliia Nasyrova, 27 years old, has been growing her hair out since she was seven years old.

Currently, her hair is 90 inches (2.3 meters)long and weighs about 2 kilograms or just about the weight of her cat.

But unlike her fairy tale counterpart, Aliia isn't locked up in a tower far, far away. She moves in and out of the house freely, even taking strolls around the mall.

She admits, though, that moving around with that amount of hair is challenging, so she usually braids or rolls it up into a bun.

It also takes all day to dry her hair so she only washes it once a week.

She does cut it from time to time, but only to remove the split ends.

With all the inconveniences of having a long hair, it is her husband, Ivan, that has to make the biggest adjustments.

"When we are going away somewhere, we always plan the entire day for it since we understand that otherwise, we will lose one day from our vacation, our rest," he said.

He also added that his wife's hair takes more space in the bed than he does.

"For us the braid is one more family member. I always talk to the braid respectfully," he explained as he failed to suppress a chuckle.

"Sometimes I ask it to move a bit. If it is ok with it," he added jokingly.

Fortunately for her, Ivan loves her just the way she is, hair and all. And everytime they're together, he is always just as dazzled as the many bystanders admiring her hair.
