Going on a tour is a very exciting adventure for anyone. It is a great way to bond with friends or family while enjoying what nature could offer. People expect to have a relaxing and calm journey.
However, this is not what these Louisiana tourists experienced when they visited a tourist destination as their guide did something incredibly insane!
The video below was taken by Stacy Hicks, one of the tourists who visited Jean Lafitte Historical Park and Preserve. Just as when they thought everything will turn out just fine, they were all shocked when their tourist guide jumped in the water filled with wild alligators! What seemed to be his insanity did not stop there as the Louisiana tourists witnessed that he fed the wild creatures with 'marshmallows' directly from his mouth! His dangerous trick garnered attention from many netizens, causing the footage to be shared 108,000 times on Facebook.
Stacy's video also garnered criticism, especially from state wildlife officials. Although feeding alligators is not prohibited under the law of Louisiana, the tour guide's company Jefferson Parish deemed this as an illegal activity.

When asked about their statement for the incident, Aleutia Scott of Jean Lafitte Historical Park claimed that they were disappointed for the act. The park's administration said that the place is not a zoo hence that particular act for entertainment is never appropriate in the place. They also added that the alligators are wild animals that are supposed to be doing normal things while in their premises.
Meanwhile, Airboat Adventures refused to release their statement regarding the matter.
