Despite her busy schedule, actress Angel Locsin made sure to do something significant for International Women's Day which was celebrated last March 08, 2017.
The actress posted a photo of herself holding a bag of blood she donated for Philippine Red Cross.
She posted it on Instagram, with the caption:
“Happy International Women’s day! I am honoring this day by donating blood to Philippine Red Cross ☺️ Donate & help save lives!”
She was filmed all through out the procedure and Angel was very relaxed about it. She shared that she had already donated blood a couple of times, but had to stop as she was under medication for quite some time.
When asked about the requirements of blood donation, Angel shared that a good 8-hour sleep is needed. She also said that people under medication, underweight or are pregnant are not allowed to donate. She also noted how one shouldn't have any alcohol before the procedure.
She also encouraged everyone to donate blood as one donation can help at least 3-4 people in need. Her photo already garnered over 71 likes on Instagram with many of her fans commending Angel's good heart. Many also noted how her new hairstyle suited her.
