Some men, especially rich ones, think so highly of themselves that they think they can easily get whatever they want by just paying for it. However, some things cannot be bought, such as the genuine affection of a person.
'Jane the Virgin' star Greice Santo and her husband Robert Cipriani are suing Daryl Katz for an indecent proposal he made with the female celebrity.
According to Cipriani, Edmonton Oilers hockey team owner Daryl Katz, who is already married, offered his wife Greice $20,000 to have sex with him.
Greice informed the Hawaii police in 2015 regarding the incident.
The deal that Katz offered required Greice to sleep with him around five to six times a month.
The total money he would give should she have agreed to give her services would amount to $1.44million to be paid in full.
Obviously, the married celebrity declined the offer telling Katz that she is not a prostitute.
Greice stated in her complaint that Katz has repeatedly made advances on her through the billionaire’s cousin Michael Gelmon.
“Over the next couple of days both Katz and Gelmon talk about helping my career,” said Greice.
“They also spoke of the many connections Daryl Katz had, including his partnership with Joel Silver and Silver Pictures. I was told many times by Gelmon how very rich and powerful Katz is,” she added.
“For about 30 minutes they told me how they can change my life and career and also change my family's life with their connections in Hollywood,” wrote Greice.
Another instance where Katz tried to purchase Greice’s services is during a “dinner date” wherein Greice thought they were going to discuss her career.
According to Greice, “That meeting again started with Daryl's talk of helping my career, but then 30 minutes into conversation Katz wanted s*x for money,”
As a response, Greice said “I'm not a prostitute.”
Katz allegedly replied to this by saying “If I were you I'd just take the money.”
According to reports, however, Cipriani is just doing this in order to get his revenge from Katz for testifying against him in a drug-related case he was involved in back in 2006.
