Exclusive - Charice Pempengco Has Broke up With Her Live-In Partner! Is She Quitting Showbiz?

Once upon a time, Charice Pempengco ruled the scene of YouTube because of her impressive performances and her powerful vocal chords. 

That was back in 2007, where she was discovered on the video-sharing platform. Ellen DeGeneres heard the young lady and invited her over to her talk show, where Charice instantly gained recognition. 

Oprah Winfrey also touted her as one of “most talented girl” in the world and was able to impress the talk show host with her live song numbers. 

Charice was also closely associated with composer David Foster, who mentored her especially in her early musical careers. Since then, she has performed numerous shows in America, where gained a large following because of her impressive vocals.

She released an album ‘Charice’ where she was able to musically collaborate with singer Iyaz in the single ‘Pyramid.’

By 2012, things took a turn for the promising teen. She drastically changed her way of clothing and hairstyle. Apart from that, she also began to rock tattoos. This prompted her followers to question her change and that’s when she revealed that she was a lesbian. 

Charice confirmed this on her interview with Boy Abunda in the now-defunct talk show ‘The Buzz’ in 2013. She also revealed that in the past, she’s had relationships with girls before in the music and entertainment industry. 

Immediately after her revelation, Charice began a relationship with Alyssa Quijano. According to ABS-CBN News, they were former rivals in different singing competitions back then. 

In a recent report by Philippine Entertainment Portal, it was revealed that the couple has already broken-up. This was based on a column published by Pilipino Star Ngayon, where it cited that Alyssa left their shared apartment and brought her clothes and a few things with her. 

The source also cited that Charice is now living with a fan on a house in Laguna. They have tried to reach out to her relatives for comment but none have replied yet. Charice’s manager, Jed Velasco, have also been questioned, but did not reply.
