The Facebook page of the local government of Inabanga, Bohol exposed a series of photos of a cave which they believe served as the hide-out of the members of Abu Sayyaf.
According to ABS-CBN News, the cave can be found in Sitio Lagsing, Brgy. Bacani. Authorities found empty bottles of soft drinks, sacks and slippers outside the cave. These materials signify the possibility that a group of people stayed in the area for a certain period of time.
The dead body of the slain Abu Sayyaf sub+leader Joselito Melloria waa found 100 meteres away from the cave where members of the terrorist group allegedly stayed.
Military Central Command chief Lieutenant General Oscar Lactao reported that Melloria was slain before he arrived at Inabanga where the rebel grouped and the government armed forces clashed last week.
Prior to the death of Melloria, military forces were able to eliminate Muamar Askali aka Abu Rami, an Abu Sayyaf leader.
