It’s been a while since we saw Meg Imperial onscreen. She was last seen on TV5’s Bakit Manipis ang Ulap and also had a guest role on ABS-CBN’s Ang Probinsiyano. 

She recently admitted that she suffered from depression years ago.

Fret not, Megaholics! On April 17, she will once again take the limelight on GMA 7’s upcoming comedy-drama soap D’Originals. Meg shared that, since she started her career as a Kapuso, GMA is where she feels most at ease.

“Thankful ako sa Kapuso Network for giving me the opportunity. I'm very happy with their treatment dahil nafi-feel ko na inaalagaan talaga nila ang artista,” Meg said.

In the upcoming D’Originals, Meg will play the role as the mistress of Kim Domingo’s husband, played by Archie Alemania. 

She revealed something that fans will definitely drool over - a bikini showdown scene.

“Oh my, God! Madaming dibdiban!” Meg laughed.

When asked if she was intimidated by Kim Domingo’s sexiness, she said “I’m proud to say that I’m confident with myself now. There’s no way I should be intimidated by anyone.”

While it’s normal to experience awkwardness with someone you just met, Meg clarified that there were no problems between her and Kim.

“Walang insecurity sa trabaho or anything. Talagang may friendship na nabuo sa cast.”
