Now that they are married, Nico has enrolled himself in a Filipino language class with Vilmar Martinez in an effort to speak Solenn’s language when she is with her family, friends, and fans.
Nico uploaded his first langugage learning milestone on his Instagram account on March 2017, where he posted a picture with Martinez.
According to GMA Entertainment, he captioned the post in Filipino, saying "Klase ng tagalog pagkatapos ng trabaho sa opisina ng LM10 kasama si @cocokrause7 ang guro @ramliv2014"
His post featured the hashtags "#nakakadugongilong #nosebleed #charotlang #echoslang"
When netizens saw Nico’s post, they lauded his effort to learn Filipino and were amazed that he immediately picked up “beki” language as well, a colloquial lingo that is spoken by homosexuals or locally known as a “beki.”
They were pertaining to his series of hashtags that was included in his post.
On April 7, Nico posted a video on his Instagram that tracked his progress in learning the language. On the video, he was conversing with Martinez as if he has to introduce himself to her for the first time.

On April 22, Nico posted another picture--this time, with him suffering from a supposed “nosebleed” while he was taking his Filipino language class.
The caption of the Argentinian read, “Ikapitong leksyon kasama ang guro @ramliv2014 nosebleed pa rin!” He hashtagged it with “#nosebleed #pepsikeepsmefocus #pepsisuliten” and tagged Pepsi Philippines.
