Exclusive - Viral Story of How Bride's Wedding Was Saved By Uber Has Now Become a Viral Video! You'll Want to Watch This!

Last year the story of a bride who went to her wedding via Uber, circulated all over social media. 

Netizen Lilith Villamor-Mata recounted her experience with the popular transpor app after the bridal car she was supposed to ride to her wedding failed to arrive on time.

“Okay na ang lahat ng suppliers, coordinators, relatives, entourage, etc… Umalis na lahat sa The Victor Hotel at nagpuntang church. Sympre ako ang bride, ako ang huling aalis dun,” Villamor recalls.

Apparently the driver had suffered a mishap and left his keys inside the car. 

“Dapat on the way na kami… Sabi sa ‘kin wait lang daw dahil nagkaproblema ang bridal car. Bakit kako. Naiwan ang susi sa compartment!” she added.

Despite how hopeless the situation appeared, the bride quickly decided to book an Uber ride to take her to church.

After a short while a black Toyota Innova picked her up and brought her to her destination. The driver was rather surprised at such a unique request. The bride, her entourage and her new driver were laughing at how crazy it is. The wedding coordinators didn’t miss a step and managed to decorate the vehicle with flowers.

“Habang nasa car, nagtatawanan na lang kaming tatlo (4 kasama si Uber driver) dahil kakaiba nga daw. Medyo nagulat pa yata si kuya nu’ng unang kita niya sa ‘kin. Malay ba niyang naka-gown ang pasahero niya. Haba pa naman ng gown ko,” she said.

What’s more - Ms. Villamor was pleasantly surprised that the Uber driver was a devout Christian. He stayed to give the bride his blessing and until her whole entourage had entered the church. 

“Ang nakakatuwa pa, si kuya Uber driver Christian pala. Kaya pinag-pray over niya muna kami at pumayag na mag-stay hanggang makapasok muna ang mga entourage… Kaya laki ng pasalamat ko sa Uber at siyempre apir din sa sarili ko at hindi ako nag beastmode sa bridal car,” she added.
