If your dog suffers from allergies, put old socks on his paws to keep him from licking them raw. You can tape them on using vet wrap. Use ones with grips (slipper socks) for smooth floors.

Use pillowcases to cover your dog’s beds and mats, that way you can just slip the case off and wash it when they get dirty.

Use shower caps when bathing your puppy to prevent water and soap from getting into their ears or eyes.

Create a "do not feed"puppy list of all things that are toxic for your dog (i.e. chocolate, onions, grapes, etc) and post it in a place where everyone can see it (including guests). Now everyone knows what they are allowed to give your puppy.
