The Star Magic Ball 2016 was a night full of bright stars and veteran artists of showbiz, who all wore their best suits and dresses for the annual event. ABS-CBN used the event, held on October 22, to showcase their team of world-class performers.
Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo shined during the event.
Daniel and Kathryn arrived together to the event and looked as dashing as ever.
The adorable couple both wore all-black outfits which suited them both well.
However, many people took unnecessary notice to one picture of Daniel, when the young actor posed for the camera with a “satanic” hand gesture.
This hand sign, apparently, was turned into a big deal by some Filipino Facebook users and it went viral. The post was captioned, “LUH. si bes o ,demonic sign ang napagtripan nya.”
The gesture was just meant to be for picture-taking because many people know that Daniel is a good person and a believer of God.
This is also one of the reported reasons why Kathryn couldn’t be in a relationship with Daniel because he was a Catholic and she was a member of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC).
The two have been part of many successful projects and have a lot of upcoming ones as well. Most recently, the two starred in another Star Cinema blockbuster, Barcelona.
