Jennylyn Mercado’s adoptive mother, Mommy Lydia passed away at age 74, at 7:52 a.m on October 29 Saturday.
A tweet from GMA news entertainment reporter Nelson Canlas confirmed the sad news about Lola Lydia’s death.

Jennylyn’s manager, Becky Aguila, already released confirmation messages regarding the incident.
Mommy Lydia was in the intensive care unit of St. Luke’s Medical Hospital when sepsis secondary to pneumonia ended her life.
According to sources, Mommy Lydia is Jennylyn’s aunt who adopted her when her biological mother needed to work in Dubai.
