A netizen who feared for her privacy posted an alarming message for all Facebook users after she was blackmailed by an unknown person who sent her a Facebook friend request.

According to her post, a certain Alfred Vargas sent her a friend request which she declined after seeing that they do not have any mutual friends.

The said Alfred Vargas not only wanted to befriend Torres virtually, but he also asked for her nude photos. Vargas threatened Torres that if she refused to send him her nude pictures, he will send another nude picture to some of Torres’ friends and claim that the person in the picture is Torres. Vargas added that he will do it to destroy Torres’ reputation. Torres tried to maneuver their conversation by saying that her Facebook friends know her so well and so they will not fall into Vargas’ blackmailing act. However, Vargas is determined to get what he wanted and so he still insisted that he will leak the nude photos unless Torres will send him her real ones. Vargas even promised that he keep Torres' real nude photos to himself only and he will not leak them on the Internet.

Instead of falling into this trap, Torres immediately posted their conversation on her Facebook wall to notify the public about the blackmailing stunt. After warning her friends and the public as well, she also asked them to report the Facebook account with the owner named “Alfred Vargas”.

Meanwhile, there still no update or confirmation whether Torres already identified the man behind the blackmailing act.
