Veteran actor Julio Diaz is still alive and well, refuting reports that he died last night.
“Buhay na buhay ako,” said Julio Diaz to PEP.ph this morning.
Pep.ph has reported that Diaz died last night due to cardiac arrest, which shocked the nation and his colleagues.
According to them, the news came from Lulu Datuin, batchmate of Julio's sibling.
Pep.ph received a text from Diaz himself about the news, saying he is still alive and the information was confusely taken.
“[Good] morning julio!!!...... heto busy ako sa kasasagot sa bagong balita tungkol sa akin na PATAY NA DAW Ako. My answer is heto BUHAY NA BUHAY, kapatid ko sa ama [ang namatay] at kapangalan ko rin. Mas bata sa akin yun,” Diaz said in a text.
Diaz is 57 years old while the dead one is 55 years old.
Pep.ph has already apologized to all the readers for the mistake they committed.
Meanwhile, Datuin already erased his posted and said: My half-brother 'Mariano Julio Diaz' De Leon Regaliza, who is an actor, is still alive.
