Exclusive - Why Duterte Does Not Gain Praises For The Bringing Peace to the Philippines

It's almost a year when Former President Aquino has been nominated for the Nobel peace prize for his passion in pursuing the Bangsamoro Basic Law and for extending peace towards the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

These peace-talks were further pursued by President Rodrigo Duterte, not just with the rebel groups in Mindanao but with the Communist Party of the Philippines.

Duterte even had dinner with the government and the CPP negotiators in the Malacañang Palace. First ever in the Philippine History that a president had dinner with the Communist Party. It's not just an ordinary meeting, but this shows how the current administration is doing all their efforts to make peace.

Despite of all the efforts of today's administration in handling disputes with the local rebel groups, there was very little mention of it in the local and international media. Most of these mainstream media keep on giving information against Duterte such as allegations of extrajudicial killings. .

These are the types of news that were just reported to create controversies which gives the people in political power an edge over the president.  But fortunately, there are people from show business,  politics, elite individuals and even most of the Filipino supports the Duterte administration not just because they believe that Duterte can change the Philippines.

But for the 16 million who voted for him, it's not about the recognition.  For them, he is a hero and he deserves respect, trust and admiration.
