Exclusive - Comedian Boobay Was Rushed To The ICU Because of a Stroke!

Comedian Norman Balbuena a.k.a. Boobay suffered a stroke and was brought to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Yesterday, November 28.

Kent Juan Resquir revealed the incident on Instagram and is also updating the public about any developments.

“Boobay's condition is getting better. He is conscious and vital signs are stable. Strength of both upper and lower extremities is not impaired. Comprehension is preserved but has trouble speaking fluently," Kent wrote on his IG account.

He also said that Boobay is “still in Acute Stroke Care for further observation” and hopes that he gets well soon.

A few moments after, Kent posted another update and said that Boobay was able to make a joke when his friend Allan K, a host of Eat Bulaga, went to visit him and everyone burst out in laughter.

Kent wrote:

“Convo sa room”

“Allan K: Anong pangalan ko?”

“Boobay: Ako ang yung tunay na Ama.”

“(Tawanan lahat)”

Meanwhile, director Louie Ignacio also posted his concerns about the comedian on his Facebook account.

“Please pray for Boobay… Love you Boobay…” the director said.
