Exclusive - Duterte Rejects LNMB And Want To Be Buried Beside His Parents - 'Walang Mas Honor Para Sa Akin Kung ‘Di Itabi Ako Sa Nanay Pati Tatay Ko'

As he readily as he defended the burial of former President Ferdinand Marcos to be at LNMB (Libingan Ng Mga Bayani), Duterte said that he does not want to be buried there.

Even though he is qualified to be buried at LNMB, he still prefers Davao. President Duterte claims that ‘when the time comes’ he wants to be buried beside his parents in a mausoleum at the Davao Public and Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Duterte told reporters during his visit at his parent’s grave on All Saint’s Day, “Susmaryosep, kanila na 'yan. Pagtatalunan pa natin yan. Walang pinaka mas honor para sa akin kung ‘di itatabi ako sa nanay pati tatay ko.”

Duterte claiming that he prefers to stay in Davao than in Manila, it is not a surprise that he wants to be buried in his hometown.

Despite having the right to live in Malacanang Palace, his family resides in Davao City even though Duterte is now the President.
