The oceans around the world have both the mystery and beauty which can make anyone speechless.
One proof of this is Johnathan Nimerfroh’s photography of the ocean water while it is transforming to ice in Nantucket, Massachusetts.
He was able to capture the moment that the ocean itself was freezing. The waves looked like giant gray tongues that seems to be licking the shore while moving in slow motion.
Normally, the ocean produces rough waves during windy conditions. But because it was in the middle of ice transformation, the oceans created beautiful and smooth slush waves.
Nimerfroh tried to return on the spot the next day but he saw that the ocean is already completely frozen.
