Exclusive - A Customer Refuses To Sit Besides A Special Child, He Really Deserves What The Waiter Did To Him After

The day may have started as ordinary as the next for Kim Castillo and her son, Milo, as they headed to Laurenzo's restaurant in Houston, TX in 2013.

Upon their arrival, the staff had been warm and welcoming to the both of them, however one man and his family felt otherwise as they decided to move away from Kim and her son.

The man and his family who initially sat near their table decided to move at the back which Kim noticed but tried to shrug off.

"We were sitting there and all of a sudden I noticed that the family across from us got up and moved to the back of the restaurant. I thought, ‘I wonder if they’re moving because of us?’" she narrated.

However, Michael Garcia, a server at the restaurant, was able to discover what the family had against Kim and Milo when the man decided to speak out against them.

"I didn’t think much of it until I heard him say, ‘Special-needs children need to be special somewhere else,’" he shared.

"It was very disturbing. My personal feelings just took over and I told this man, ‘I’m sorry, I can’t serve you.’"

Embarassed and outraged, the family quickly left the restaurant.

Kim on the other hand, was moved by Garcia's guts to stand up for them against the prejudice.

"What went through my mind was that I was just so impressed and felt so good that somebody would stand up for another human being," shared Kim.

Managers, customers and netizens commended the bravery Garcia displayed as he fought for someone else. Despite the years that have passed since the incident happened, the story continuously inspires people.

"It upset me because he’s a 5-year-old little boy. He’s an angel. He’s precious!"
