In Costa Rica, a group of divers encountered this majestic yet scary sea creature and they caught it on cam.
The manta ray was entangled in a thick, fishing line. It was far from being intimidating and appeared to be struggling to be free.
Large creatures usually stay away from any human contact but in this case, the creature came to them looking for help. When the diver successfully freed the ray, it backfliped expressing its gratefulness.The amazing encounter was captured in this video taken by one of the divers.
In an interview with Brazilian news station G1, one of the divers,Thomaz Monteiro, said it was the first time they saw a manta ray and described it as "very profound."
