Exclusive - US Courts Allowed Police To Shoot Dogs Just For Barking Or Moving!

Dogs are considered man's best friend -- but apparently, not for the US courts.

In the documentary Of Dogs and Men, it shows how police could just shoot dogs for barking and moving if they see it as a threat to people.

According to the documentary, a pet dog is shot by police every 98 minutes in US for "showing threats."

Despite the unpopular rule of law, particularly to dog enthusiasts, there have been some court rulings about this issue and they favored the shooting.

Here are some testaments on those rulings:

"Officer Klein testified that after he shot and killed the first dog, he noticed the second dog standing about halfway across the basement. The second dog was not moving towards the officers when they discovered her in the basement, but rather she was “just standing there,” barking and was turned sideways to the officers. Klein then fired the first two rounds at the second dog."

"A police officer in Filer, Idaho, explained the incident to a colleague minutes after it happened: “I get out to talk to the people, two dogs come around me, one of them’s growling and snarling. I kick it. It comes back around, now it’s growling and snarling. I kick it again. Then it lunges at me, I’m like, f— you. So, I just shot it."

While it may be legal, dog enthusiasts don't think that legal and right are synonymous, as they are still being vocal against the violent treatment to dogs.
