Is Paolo Ballesteros ready to leave Eat Bulaga to do new movie projects?
A report released by Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) last Friday answered this new controversy involving the Eat Bulaga host. According to Bernie Franco of PEP, the 'Die Beautiful' star still places GMA 7's noontime show 'Eat Bulaga' on the top of his priorities.
GMA Entertainment News reported that Ballesteros' success in his Metro Manila Film Festival entry, 'Die Beautiful, opened more doors for new movie projects. Because of numerous awards he received for the film (he won 'Best Actor' in the 2016 MMFF and the Tokyo Film Fest), he confirms that there are numerous movie projects lined-up for him.
Ballesteros also shared with CNN Philippines that he still wants to explore the vast industry of show-business as he still wants to do many thigs. The actor gave special emphasis on singing as he eyes a possible musical project.
"Gusto ko talagang mag-perform, gusto ko like sa mga musicals, ganyan. Basta gusto ko 'yung kumakanta" Ballesteros said to PEP.ph.
However, despite Ballesteros' new projects, he clarified that the noon time show where he started from will still be his priority.
"Ang dami ko pang gustong ibigay, so I hope magkaroon pa ng ibang projects for that. But siyempre, ang priority ko is 'Eat Bulaga" the actor added.
"Marami ding movies na naka-lineup, but like what I told them, priority ko is Eat Bulaga."
The 34-year old host also shared that he has chosen his next movie project but refused to release further details.
Ballesteros is known not only for his hosting and acting skills but has also made headlines with his talent for impersonating different celebrities with his make-up transformations.
