The 2017 Miss Universe is drawing closer than ever. With the Philippines hosting the grand showcase, it highlights how Filipinos love this elegant parade of beauty and wit.
On Thursday, January 26, Willie Revillame shared a light moment with one of the Miss Universe candidates.
Like what he usually does on an everyday basis on ‘Wowowin’, Kuya Will gave each of the 11 Miss U candidates a new Cherry Mobile Flare, one of the more premium products of the Philippine-based smartphone makers.
The Miss U candidates were all elated with the free phone giveaways, sporting their smiles.
Kuya Will said that if they won't use it, it’s better to give it to their boyfriends. To his surprise, Miss Curacao mimed giving the phone to Kuya Will, as if telling him that they should be together.
Kuya Will lost it and went down on his knees to ask “Will you marry me?”
Much to the audience’s delight, the Miss Universe candidates were all good to joke around and be playful.
After that, the show, of course, ended with the traditional refrain of "Bigyan ng jacket!"
Curacao is a Dutch Caribbean island, it is known for its beaches tucked into coves and its expansive coral reefs rich with marine life.
