Having a healthy life for a child is every parent's goal. The mother takes full care of her self and her baby for nine months all the while arduously preparing everthing for the infant's arrival and making sure that it will have the quality of life it deserves.
Nothing should go wrong. Everything is well-planned.
So, you can just imagine how Josh and Kate's hearts were broken when they discovered that their son, Archie was holding on for dear life.
It all started great for Archie, he was normal and living life like every other child until his fifth month came.
What they thought was a simple ear infection, turned out to be more drastic and horrible.
Archie's lips turned gray, he began to develop rashes on his chest and fingers. When the doctors saw these symptoms, they knew it was not a simple case of infection but a fatal meningococcal infection or meningitis.
Josh and his partner's life crumbled right before their eyes. Their little, helpless baby boy was now fighting for his dear life.
Thankfully, they were prompt and alert.
After a lot of treatments including blood transfusions, and staying in the hospital for several months, Archie is now on his way to recovery.
The couple also started an initiative called GoFundMe where they aim to collect $5,000 worth of donations and the response was unbelivable.
Archie still has a long way to go, but this is a good start.
