Reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach spent the 2016 new year countdown in Hawaii with car racing champion Marlon Stockinger.
Through their Instagram posts, the couple shared how they enjoyed the beach during holiday season. Pia posted a photo showing her and Marlon on a beach in Waimanalo, Hawaii. She captioned it with:
"My kind of NYE"
On the other hand, Marlon also posted a solo picture of the queen on his own account captioned with : "Beachbummin on the last day of the year"
According to Inquirer.net, the Filipino-Swiss Formula 1 car racer confirmed last October that he is dating the beauty queen.
Meanwhile, the outgoing Miss Universe sent a video greeting for her fans through Instagram with the message:
"Hi, guys! Happy New Year! I’m here in Hawaii right now enjoying the sun while some of you might be in the [middle of] winter. Well, Happy New Year!” reports Inquirer.net.
Pia is set to be back in Manila this month as she is about to pass the crown on to the next Miss Universe. The coronation night will be held in the country on January 30.
