The son of PBA cager James Yap with his Italian fiancé, Michela Cazzola, was baptized yesterday in a church. The two have been in a relationship for more than a year and will be married soon.
The baptism of Michael James was held at the Sanctuario de San Antonio at Forbes Park in Makati City last Saturday afternoon, January 14.
According to an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), James said that his son had 12 pairs of godparents and most of them were close, non-celebrity friends of the couple.
Some of these people were ABS-CBN broadcaster Julius Babao and wife Tintin Bersola-Babao, his manager Dondon Monteverde, and his bosses at Rain or Shine Terry Que and Raymond Yu.
The couple also invited Kris Aquino, James’ ex-wife, to the baptism but the Queen of all Media was not spotted in the event.
