Jessie Hallig, the netizen-biker who shared his journey dedicated to his sick brother in Sorsogon, is now in deep grief as it was reported that his brother Rhamil Hallig has passed away today.
Netizens supported the viral story of the brothers ever since Jessie posted his biking trek on Facebook. He started his stride last January 18 from Manila to Sorsogon.
Jessie's trek lasted for days and many admired him for his determination. A group of bikers he saw along the way even assisted him through his trip.
However, his journey ended today as his inspiration and main benefactor of the journey died this morning.
The people in social media extend their sadness and sympathy towards their family.
Some recognized the unwavering love of a brother to his sibling that cannot be replaced by any amount of money.
"This is the greatest sacrificial love a sibling can give that even money nor any wealth ay di pwedeng ipantapat. Di man sya umabot, I salute you Mr. Hallig for showing the world that your courage to conquer the obstacles along the road on your way to Sorsogon ay priceless. Bihira lang ang gagawa ng ganyan sa panahon natin ngayon unless with pay or may price na nag.aantay sa mananalo.Salute din sa mga umalalay!" Lea Mondes commented.
"Saludo aq su kua kw n yata ang pnka mbuting kptid s mundo..sna lht ng tao kgya m mgsakripisyo kht hirap bsta s kptid lng," Amy Masangkay praised Jessie's sacrifices.
