At the age of 10, Jennifer's life started to go downhill as a nightmare erupted in her life.

She was once a happy and brave kid filled with life but things changed when her mother decided to remarry.

For a 10-year-old kid, Jennifer went through things no kid should ever have to experience. Her stepfather began to abuse her, physically and sexually.

The abuse took a toll on Jennifer and she could no longer eat and sleep right. Her fears became a constant part of her everyday.

"It was the worst time of my life. I gave up and I think everyone saw it," she admitted in an interview with Yahoo.

Fortunately, the brave little girl inside Jennifer still existed and soon she was able to find the courage to expose the truth.

She was 12-years-old when she finally exposed her stepfather's evil doings to her mother. Upon her revelation, her mother quickly reported her stepfather to authorities. Unfortunately the trial still took 3 years to materialize.

The experience was not easy for Jennifer. Apparently finding the courage to tell the truth was not enough as her family did not quickly recover from the pain. Her family was still not at peace despite her stepfather's arrest.

She was yet to testify against her stepfather but she was not ready, she felt drained and weak. She was still suffering from the afterthoughts brought by the experience; she was scared, she could not sleep and she was on the verge of being suicidal.

She could not remove her clothes even when she showered. She started to become restless and checked on every door and window in their home. She could not sleep and even if she did, her nightmares tormented her.

Fortunately she met biker Tomstone of Los Angeles' Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA).

BACA is a nonprofit organization with the intention of protecting vulnerable children and providing support for their families. They served as guards at home or even amid the lawsuits. They also guide children through the process of therapy.

The organization is on call 24 hours a day for the children who still feel afraid of. their abusers.

This worked well for Jennifer as the bikers guarded her house the entire day to make her feel safe.

During the time she had to testify against her tormentor, the bikers were with her and did not allow her to stand alone during the big confrontation.

This gave her confidence to speak up and thankfully, this led to her stepfather's long sentence.

These men became a constant part of her life.

They were at her call and they even went with her to school from time to time. During her celebration for graduation, they were also there.

BACA became Jennifer's support as she recovered. And now she had the guts to share her story and celebrate the new people in her life.
