Exclusive - 15-Year-Old Student Commits Suicide in Turburan, Cebu. Must Read!

On Tuesday afternoon in the town of Tuburan in Cebu, a 15-year-old boy chose to end his life rather than face the consequences of his failed marks.

The grade 7 student from Tuburan Central school hanged himself inside a small hut a few meters away from his home. When one of the neighbors found the boy at 4 in the afternoon on Tuesday, it was already too late.

According to Tuburan Police Chief inspector Roland Aliser, the boy was already dead before even reaching the hospital.

Using a nylon rope, the 15-year-old kid tied the end of the rope on the hut's ceiling tied the other end around his own neck. The hut where the boy was found was said to be used for housing animals.

Afraid of his parents knowing about his failed marks due to skipping classes, the boy committed suicide, said Aliser.

Netizens expressed their sympathy over the tragic death of the young boy. However, the issue on his mental health and failing grade became a subject of debate.
