When Dingdong Dantes married primetime queen Marian Rivera, the public called it “The Royal Wedding”. It couldn’t be more appropriate— after all, they were two of the most bankable stars of GMA that time, making them earn the moniker “king” and “queen” of the teleseryes.
The couple’s wedding was highly-anticipated and different personalities and celebrities were in attendance to witness the event. ABS-CBN News reported that Sharon Cuneta, Vilma Santos, Ai-Ai delas Alas, and Richard Gomez were present, among others.
They initially met on the set of ‘MariMar’ in 2007 and since then, have continually shown their chemistry with each other when they ventured to other projects, including ‘Dyesebel.’ However, just like other celebrity couples, Dingdong and Marian initially did not have the public’s approval.
Some people criticized Marian for her feisty attitude and the way she would bluntly curse out loud. According to them, this was not the lady they had envisioned Dingdong to marry. But marry they did and after one year, they had Maria Letizia, their first daughter.
Marian took a downtime in her career to take care of her daughter because according to her, she wanted to be a “full-time” mom to Zia—as was the daughter is called by the public and their fans.
This could be seen by the actress’s posts on Instagram, where she posts pictures of her bonding and spending time with her daughter and her husband, Dingdong. Marian is also known to adore fresh flowers, most specifically from ‘Te Amo Floristeria,’ a highly-renowned flower shop in Bonifacio Taguig City.
However, last Valentine’s Day, her husband surprised her when he didn’t give her flowers, but a flower shop of her own instead! The shots were seen in the actress’ Instagram account, where she captioned it with “Soon… (with a flower emoji)” and tagged @floravidabymarian with the hashtag #Bucketlist (with a checkmark emoji”
