Exclusive - Doctors Diagnosed Him as 'Just Fat' 12 Years Ago but He Actually Had a Gigantic 9-Kg Tumor on His Stomach!

This 57-year-old man was walking with a death clock on him for 12 years in the form of a huge tumor! 

Rogan Logan said the tumor grew this big after he was misdiagnosed 12 years ago as 'just fat'.

The tumor got so big that it weighs as much as 3 bags of cement! It left him unable to walk and the tumor even reached the floor when he sat down. The doctors claimed that it became impossible to operate on the tumor as it would be too risky. It was predicted that his chance of survival would be 50% if they decided to push through with the operation. 

Roger then gave up on his life, what with being dependent on treatments for his liver failure and dehydration. He fell into depression; failed to manage his antique store, family farm and even refused eating and drinking.

Fortunately, his wife, Kitty, didn't give up and finally met a doctor who agreed to do the operation. It was Dr. Dev, from Bakersfield Memorial Hospital in California, who claimed to have had a previous patient with the same case. The operation was costly and so Kitty needed to raise funds. When they completed the money, they then traveled 40 hours to the hospital which was 2,000 miles from their home. Roger had to be fastened at the van's floor to travel comfortably.

According to Dr. Dev, the tumor might have sprung from an ingrown hair which later developed its own blood supply after getting infected. 

Just recently, the operation was declared succesful and Roger has been back on his feet, literally! "My feet are together. They haven’t been together in years,” he said.
