It was a report from Latin Times which sparked the rumors about the french beauty queen having an alleged relationship with another girl. They openly stated that Iris is a rumored lesbian. After some eagle-eyed netizens looked into her Instagram account, some people are saying that the story just might be true
Some netizens took notice of her closeness with her fellow French beauty queen, Camille Cerf. They have a lot of pictures together and most of them are really friendly. Iris is the successor of the Miss France title after Camille won it in the year 215. They both represented the Nord-Pas de Calais region in France. With this, more and more people jumped to the conclusion that Miss Universe 2016 is gay.
However, Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere hasn't issued any official statements regarding the issue.
