Exclusive - MUST SEE: Around 400,000 Duterte Supporters Gathered In Luneta For the Anti-Drug Campaign!

On the same date of the commemoration of the EDSA Revolution, thousands of President Rodrigo Duterte's supporters gathered at the Quirino Grandstand today for the "People's Support for Duterte's war against illegal drugs, poverty, and corruption" vigil.

As of 6:15 p.m., PTV Philippines tallied around 400,000 people at the venue. The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) told commuters and motorists that the event will cause heavy traffic around the area.

Eagle News, SMNI News, PTV and other media outlets covered the vigil live on Facebook. Netizens from in and out of the country joined and watched the pro-Duterte rally.

The live videos garnered more than 9 thousand views and 25 thousand reactions. No doubt, the President is still popular despite the numerous controversies surrounding his violent regime.

Meanwhile, at EDSA northbound, an EDSA Revolution celebration is still ongoing in an attempt to recall the glorious revolt that ousted the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos. Some figureheads of the revolution, such as former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile and former President Fidel V. Ramos, harkened back to their roles in the ousting of the late dictator.
