With what is happening today the society, there are various arguments about whether or not there is still hope for the future of humanity. This video might have just answered this particular question.
This footage shows an old man in need of help. A mom with his son did not hesitate to help him but they discovered something while they did so.
Melissa Whittington was with her stepson, Phillip, when she saw 89-year-old Bill Greenham standing in front of a Florida supermarket.
Bill accidentally dropped his goods on the floor and, because of his age, was unable to reach down and pick them up. Upon realizing the old man's struggle, Melissa quickly offered help. However, she did not expect what she would receive in return.
Little did they know, Bill is a volunteer from the North Port Police Department. The department and its police officers were conducting a social experiment to see if there are still citizens who are willing to help anybody who needs it. As part of their plan, the team will pay back everyone who would care to stop and help. Fortunately, Melissa was among the people who proved that there is still some good in this world.
When Melissa found out the truth, she did not expect what she would get in return. It was a coincidence that it was also Phillip's birthday that particular day. Melissa admitted that it was not a nice year for her family and so she could not afford to buy something for her stepson.
Knowing their struggle, Bill offered to buy something for them. This was the point where Melissa suddenly broke down in tears.
When the two entered the store, Phillip received the best gift of his life - a brand new skateboard! Melissa thanked the team for giving her stepson something that he will never forget.
