Exclusive - Erich Gonzales Reacts To Question About Life After Daniel Matsunaga: 'I'm Enjoying My Single Life'

Erich Gonzales is not one to dwell on a heartbreak. She is very much over her failed relationship with Daniel Matsunaga. 

And, truth be told, she's even "enjoying the single life." 

This is what Erich told hosts Ariel Ureta and Winnie Cordero when she came in as a guest on their DZMM radio program.

"Katulad po ng sinabi ko, I am moving forward and I'm enjoying my single life. And katulad nga po ng sinabi ni sir Ariel, in Spanish, 'La vida sigue.' In English, life goes on," she explained.

News of their breakup spread when Erich deleted instagram photos of them together back earlier this year. But the real reason behind the breakup remains a mystery to the entertainment press.

According to some sources, there was a third party involved. Others claimed that the couple were facing some financial woes. 

Both parties denied the speculations but refused to divulge details about their breakup. 

Their relationship lasted for two years.

It's all behind her now, and with lots of projects to keep her busy, the actress has more than a single reason to keep moving forward.

She is set to star in the legal drama series "Ipaglaban Mo". Unlike her usual roles, she will play the role of a female cop investigating a drug-trafficking group.

She's playing opposite Arjo Atayde as his girlfriend.

"Lagi natin siyang nakikita as Joaquin (sa 'Ang Probinsyano') at laging galit sa mundo. Dito ay iba naman for a change. Siya 'yung parang girl sa relationship," the actress said.
