There are still a few days before the month of March officially ends, but the summer getaways have started flooding the news feed. The travel trend has undeniably blossomed and many are just pumped up into discovering destinations other than just the mainstream ones. In the Philippines alone, provinces like Negros Occidental, Bicol, and Bohol which are not previously known for tourism, started making a name for themselves. The same thing happened in different Asian countries that are now being explored by many. So if you are looking for an international adventure this summer, try Thailand and this resort owned by Rhian Ramos' dad!

Actress Rhian Ramos, or Rhian Denise Ramos Howell in real life, promoted the resort through a one-minute visual tour of the place in her Instagram account. Her dad, Gareth Howell, named the resort Montra Hotel Samui Thailand and is located on a hillside surrounded by tropical gardens. The place is just 30 minutes away from the Koh Samui Airport and 1 kilometer away or a 10-min walk from Lamai beach, one of the popular beaches in Thailand.

Its rooms are all classy and are very spacious, ranging from $73 (PHP 3,600) to $122 (PHP 6,100) per night. It is known for its beautiful amenities with the pool as its main attraction.

She posted one photo and captioned it with "Going for the world record on 'longest amount of time spent doing nothing.'", noting how the place is the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

However, she sadly announced that the Montra resort is now closed and is for sale. On one of her posts, the actress shared: "Well, you wont be able to stay here anymore as Montra is now closed. But lemme know if you wanna buy a resort."
