A video shared by social media user Ashley Tan instantly become viral. It featured two girls dressed in white and black, respectively, fighting over one mascara.
Based on the first, the first one said that she just put down the item to look for other stuff to buy but she intended to buy it after. The other said that putting it down makes it available for anyone to purchase it.
It turned into an even more heated situation when the girl in white demanded the other to give the mascara to her. The girl in black refused since it was a limited edition item.
She says,“I want this, I always buy, I always use this.” The first girl says repeatedly, “I do not care whether you want it or not.”
The girls, who were identified as Malaysians, got into a brawl because neither wanted to give up the mascara to the other. In no time, the brawling females created a public commotion.
The video caught their cat fight but it eventually stopped without revealing who got the mascara in the end.
Some netizens doubted the video's authenticity, saying that it probably was a marketing strategy done by the brand or the shop itself.
Nevertheless, a netizen commented, “Do they really need to fight over make up? Girls.”
Whether or not it's staged or a gimmick, this is one way to catch attention!
