We all know that one of the most respected stars in the Philippine showbiz is Mr. Joey De Leon. His stint on Eat Bulaga, the longest-running noontime show made him a Filipino household icon.

That's why a lot of people were both surprised and pleased at the picture the comedian posted on his Instagram page. He posted a throwback picture of one of his "anak-anakans" in the showbiz industry. 

He posted an outtake from his former project, Joey and Son, which is a top-rated weekly television show aired on RPN-9. 

In the picture, he was with a mestizo boy who portrayed one of his sons. The boy was so charming and cute that the younger generations wondered who he was. 

Well, surprise surprise -- the cute kid in the picture is none other than one of the hottest Kapamilya stars today, Mr. Ian Veneracion. 

Joey and Son is actually Ian's first project where he played the role of Jeffrey. Looking back, Ian is now 38 years old. Oh, how fast time flies. 

From then on, Ian made a name for himself as part of That's Entertainment for 10 years. 

Aside from being a celebrity, Ian is also a licensed pilot and a motocross rider. He has been one of the most reliable actors. There is no role too big or too small for him. 

He had some low times but he is currently at the top of his game. His show a Love To Last is in the primetime block of the Kapamilya channel. He plays the love interest of Bea Alonzo.
