A video of a mother giving birth in a wheelchair outside a hospital has been drawing the attention of netizens.
According to the post, the woman had no money for hospital bills and so a certain district hospital refused to admit her. She was also believed to be homeless which made the situation a lot worse. Fortunately, the ambulance drivers took action and had some nurses assist her while the baby was coming out from her.
In the video, it can be seen that the baby is being carried by one nurse, while the other nurse is trying to cut the umbilical cord. The woman was standing across the wheelchair all throughout and was holding at its armchair for support. When the cord was successfully cut out, she was assisted inside the hospital while the baby was also rushed inside to get medical attention as well.
Many netizens noted how painful it was for the mother, having to give birth without any anesthesia at all. But most of the comments criticized the hospital for refusing to admit the poor woman. They noted how the law mandates that hospitals should never refuse patients, especially those who needs immediate action.
