Despite the prevalence of photoshopped pictures, many netizens were still terrified by this particular story circulating social media.
A dead priest was believed to have ‘photobombed’ a group of tourists who were taking pictures outside an old church in Masbate.
Facebook user Kaye Henson shared an experience that really disturbed her.
According to Henson, she and some of her friends visited the second oldest church in Burias, Masbate on April 12. The church was recommended by a native of the place. When they arrived at the church, they met two guys. One wore a red shirt and the other wore blue.
After they offered their prayers inside the church, they decided to take some pictures outside. Kaye’s mother took a picture of the group while they were standing in front of the old church.
While they were browsing through the photos, they were all shocked when they noticed a strange entity behind them in the photos. In every shot, what seemed like a man wearing white was slowly moving from the right side of the church towards the center.
When they zoomed in, they saw the image of a man with a decaying skull. They all screamed in unison and the phone used to take the photos suddenly shut down.
