Exclusive - James Reid Finally Breaks Silence On ‘JaDine Is Rude' Issue: 'Elaine Crisostomo is a liar'

Earlier this week, fans and supporters of showbiz couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre were shocked when a California-based concert producer accused the couple of being rude and ill-mannered. Their management, Viva Live, already released an official statement to clarify the issue. However, James Reid seemed to be really affected by the scandal which prompted him to express his own take on his social media account.

On 5th of April, Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) reported how Elaine Crisostomo, manager of Entablado Production USA LLC, felt disrespected by the Viva stars during the San Francisco leg of their Always JaDine: US Tour 2017. Crisostomo went to her Facebook account to narrate her experience with the artists. One of her disappointments include JaDine’s absence in a meet and greet session that she arranged for the fans. She claimed that JaDine fans paid in full amount but James and Nadine did not attend the event. On the latter part of her Facebook post, Crisostomo asked: "Ugali ba talaga ito ng jadine ang hindi makipag minggle sa fans or and management nila?”

To give light to the controversy, Viva Live decided to issue a press statement to clarify Crisostomo’s accusations. They stated that the producer’s claims are “inaccurate” and “wrongfully directed at the artists and their management”. In addition, the events which JaDine did not attend were organized without their authorization. Hence, there is a reason as to why JaDine did not present themselves before the expecting fans.

Following the release of the press statement, Kapamilya actor James Reid also released his own disappointment on his Twitter account. He called Crisostomo a “liar” and a promoter without credibility. He also explained that they were not able to talk to the producer because she was always late. In addition, he apologized to their fans who paid for an event. He continued by saying he was forced to explain using his social media account because he felt compelled by the overwhelming rumors.
